Upload your ChatGPT export, then use a private Custom GPT to search your own conversations and summarize the ones you want to revisit.

What happens here

  • Your invitation unlocks a private upload page.
  • The server converts your ChatGPT export into searchable Markdown files.
  • You receive an API code for your own Custom GPT action.
  • The Custom GPT can search by phrase or regex and summarize matching conversations.
This is invitation-only. Each API code can access only that invitee's converted conversations.

Start with your invitation

Enter the invitation code you received from the service operator.

Get your ChatGPT export zip

  1. Open your profile menu

    In ChatGPT, look at the left sidebar and press your profile name.

  2. Open settings

    Press Settings.

  3. Open Data Controls

    Press Data Controls.

  4. Request the export

    Press Export. ChatGPT may ask you to reauthorize. If it does, reauthorize, then go back and repeat steps 1 through 4 and press Export again. Only continue after ChatGPT acknowledges your export request.

  5. Wait for the email

    Wait until you receive an email with a download link. This can take a few days.

  6. Download within 24 hours

    Within 24 hours of receiving the email, press the download link. That downloaded file is the zip file you will upload here.
